This course is designed for students who want to move beyond the basics and train with purpose under challenging weather, terrain, and environmental stressors. You will apply your earlier training with less gear, more decision making, and real-world scenarios that improve your ability to stay safe and capable in the outdoors.
Course Requirements
Prerequisite:
Completion of Wilderness Safety and Survival Level 1 is required before enrolling in this class.
Pack Weight:
Arrive with no more than 25 pounds of gear. Level 2 focuses on using knowledge rather than equipment, so pack only what you consider essential.
Physical Expectations:
Students should expect moderate physical activity. This includes walking on uneven ground, short hikes, and occasional light lifting. No extreme physical conditioning is required.

Liability Waiver
All students must complete a liability waiver before participating. The waiver will be emailed to you after registration and must be submitted prior to the start of class.
